We took the boys to Catarak Lake in Silverthone, CO

to learn how to fish. Derik and Joey loved it. I didn't think

they would have the attention span to fish but they actually tried

to catch fish for several hours.

We didn't catch any fish but we did catch a lot of plant life!!

This was a great lake to kayak on.

This was definately a lesson in patience.

This was probablly the best part of the vacation for me at least. We were able to tour an air craft carrier in the bay. This ship was huge, at leat 1/4 of mile long. There were about 25 WWll plane to look at.

While we were touring the bay, a ship arrived back from Iraq bring home soldiars so the military was putting on a huge party. This helicopter was flying around the bay with the flag. There were also F16's flying around.

We loved the old Russian submarine.

Today we spent the day at Legoland.This little farm is all made of legos. they had entire U.S. cities on display, all made of legos.

We went to Petco Park to watch the Rockies punish the SanDiego Padres. they do have a nice stadium. the game went to 14 innings and the boys actually sat through 11 of the innings and all it took was 36 dollars in hotdogs and about 55 dollars in candy and cotton candy!! Ha Ha

Ofcoarse the Rockies won!!

We had a great day at the San Diego Zoo. It took all day to walk around this zoo and we still didn't have a chance to see everything.

This is the first time I've seen a koala bear, it was great because it was actually awake. This is rare because they usually sleep 22 hours a day!!


We rode on a gondola from one end of the zoo to the other. It was a great view!
